About

My background involves a long term study of tai chi, qi gong, meditation, and hatha yoga which began over 17 years ago. I graduated from Naropa University with a Bachelor of Traditional Eastern Arts in May 2007. My studies at Naropa included a deep inquiry into notions of Buddhist Peacemaking, Five Element Chinese Medicine energetics, and the vast field of poetics.
From September 2007 to August 2008 I studied Core Syncronism, a method of cranio osteopathy through the New Mexico School of Natural  Therapeutics.
Over the past ten years, I have worked as a consulting editor on many book projects, including Choose Your Metaphor by Daniel Goldsmith and Teaching What We Need To Learn by Raphael Cushnir. In July 2014 my own writing, a short story called The Baba and the Pirate was published in Sneeze Magazine #22.
Since 2012 I have taught qi gong classes in Montreal, first for the YMCA on Parc Avenue, and for the past four years at Concordia University for a small group of faculty and their students in the Masters of Visual Arts program.
I have worked part time in private practice as a consulting astrologer in Montreal since 2013; in April 2016 I was a guest on the well known Exploring Astrology podcast.
I began offering Somatic Experiencing sessions in January 2017. In August 2017 I completed the Advanced Training 1 in Somatic Experiencing at the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute and am currently completing supervision hours to obtain SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner).
I am at present compiling a book of my own poetry which reflects my deep appreciation for of the ongoing practice of poetics, titled He Who Waits By The Shoreline, Net In The Water to be published in the autumn of 2018 by 108 Editions.
